UNITED GREATEST FORWARDS IN THE PAST DECADE

Manchester United is arguably the biggest club in England with the club winning 20 Premier League titles and three Champions League Titles. The Past Decade has seen a steady decline of the club as the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool have caught up with the club.

Despite this, we look at the best forwards to play for the club in the past decade.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ibrahimovich came to England towards the end of his career but the Swedish forward did not disappoint scoring in his Premier League debut against Bournemouth to kick off his career. Ibrahimovich provided personality and character during his time at United which was exactly what Mourinho wanted at the club.

He was able to serve as a mentor to Paul Pogba and it is no surprise that Frenchman enjoyed some of his best football with the big Swede. An Achilles injury cut short his time at the club but he left as a cult hero due to his influence within that short period of time.

Robin van Persie

It is always said that football is a team game but there are some few players that can win football players that can win games on their own. Van Persie is among the select  few as he is largely credited for winning the 20th Premier League title for Manchester United.

The Dutch forward was at the peak of his powers when he joined Manchester United and promptly repaid the Old Trafford faithful with a season of consistency and brilliance.

Wayne Rooney

Rooney is regarded as one of the greatest players at the club and it is no surprise given his longevity and record. He holds the record for most goals for club and country which shows the level of consistency that he had.

He was also able to form partnerships with different forwards during his time at the club without negating his output.
